2021 Kia Forte Engine

A 147 hp 2L Inline 4-cylinder engine is standard in FE, LXS, GT-Line, and EX models. The GT and GT Manual models have a 201hp turbocharged 1.6L inline four-cylinder engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard in FE and GT Manual.

The LXS, GT-Line, and EX have an intelligent variable transmission. The GT engine pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

All the trims are front-wheel-drive models. The GT and GT manual models have a sport-tuned dual exhaust system.

Exterior Design

The GT Line, GT, and GT Manual models have an attractive sport grille with a glossy black finish and red inserts. Color-keyed exterior mirrors are standard in FE, LXS, and EX models. The other models have shiny black-toned exterior mirrors. Heated exterior mirrors with LED turn signal indicators attached to them are standard in GT-Line and above models.

Power sunroof is standard in EX and GT Manual models and available in GT-Line and GT. Features like a smart trunk, front fog lamps, LED daytime running lamps, and LED taillights are standard in GT-line and above trims. The GT and GT Manual models come with automatic headlights that adjust for high beams and auto-leveling. They also feature dual chrome exhaust tips.

Comfortable Interior

All models except EX feature single-zone air conditioning in their cabins that drivers can manually control. EX has dual-zone automatic temperature control in its interior. The EX, GT, and GT-Manual have AC vents in the back.

The lighting in the cabin of all the trims has a delay feature. The cabin of the GT model has ambient lighting with the GT logo on the dashboard. The cabin of the EX and GT Manual has LED lights.

The FE and LX seats have woven fabric upholstery. The GT Line sports seat has a mix of tricot cloth and SOFINO artificial leather with white stitching on the surface. The EX seats have SOFINO artificial leather seat upholstery. The GT and GT Manual seat surface consists of tricot cloth and SOFINO artificial leather with red stitches.

The EX model has heated and ventilated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
